Jilly Oxlade-Arnott also known as Architectural Impressions (Archiimp)
An architectural watercolour and pop art artist, who is known for her unique watercolour and fine line ink depictions of historically and nationally significant architecture and structures. She is from a family of draughtsmen, painters, potters and sculptors.
Jilly's unique style of exposed fine line ink work and vibrant watercolour, together with her exacting propositions and perspective creates a beautifully detailed and wondrous painting. Structure, perception and placement form the focal point of her works, with an emphasis on colour and depth of the subject structure leaving the surrounding detail in contrasting black line work. She is an internationally known artist with an ever growing collector and client base. Her pop art inspired works of bold lines and pure colours are best seen on large scale canvasses.
Jilly's watercolour collections currently include Birmingham, Cheltenham, Croome Court, Eastnor Castle, International (Global), Gloucestershire, Malvern, National Trust, Private Works, Seasonal, Shropshire (Ludlow), Three Choirs and Worcestershire and is currently working at her home studio in Pershore, Worcestershire.
Jilly kept extremely busy with exhibitions, private commissions, providing art classes and as a frequent artist in-residence/in-situ.
